William Leneave Obituary

LENEAVE, William "Bill" A. Sr., 94, of Amelia, Va., was peacefully called home to our Lord on Friday, June 9, 2023. He was born February 13, 1929 in Burkeville, Va., and was preceded in death by his wife of 70 years, Helen Leneave; and son, Wayne Leneave. He is survived by his children, Dorothy Smith (Lewis), William Leneave Jr., Daniel Leneave and Robert Leneave (April); three granddaughters that he raised, Shannon Brown (Daniel), Amber Leneave-Barton (Robert) and Hailey Leneave; as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, June 15, 2023 at Bliley's Funeral Home, 6900 Hull Street Rd, Richmond, Va. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, June 16, 2023 at 11 a.m. at Hopewell United Methodist Church, 6200 Courthouse Rd, Chesterfield, followed by a burial at the church's cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Hopewell United Methodist Church.
