I participated at a Juneteenth Festival this past weekend at Russell Grove HS. Many former students talked of Mr. & Mrs. Lindsey with fond memories. RIP

Today as we pause to remember Mr. Lindsey, let us think of the conversations hed probably be having with us in class right now regarding the health and racial pandemics we are presently enduring, for he was truly a man of great wisdom. Then he would say...lets get to your lesson for the day ... and we always left having learned something new. ❤

To the Lindsey Family--May each of you be comforted by the wonderful memories of your loved one. Mr. Lindsey taught me Math and Mrs. Lindsey taught me Biology at Russell Grove HS in Amelia. They were parents to all of their students and were truly two of the BEST teachers Amelia County has known. God bless and keep you.

To the Lindsey Family:

I am sorry to hear of Mr. Lindsey's death. My deepest sympathy goes to all the family. Mr. & Mrs. Lindsey were both my teachers at Russell Grove in Amelia. I never got to see them after graduating, 1961, but asked about them through friends who had seen them.

Mr. Lindsey was one of the first persons I met when I was hired by VIrginia Union in 1986. Being a first year college instructor, I was very nervous...but "Bill" Lindsey made me feel at home! He was a person I looked to for advice in advising students, and on how to deal with administration. He was a friend to me for the years I spent at VUU. I will cherish the memory of Mr. William Lindsey. May the Lord's blessings be a source of comfort for you all at this time.
