William Lindsey

January 22, 1933 - April 8, 2025

William H. Lindsey, 92, passed away peacefully on April 8, 2025, in Richmond, VA. Born on January 22, 1933, also in Richmond, he led a life defined by service, faith, and dedication.

William served honorably in the United States Army for twenty-three years, achieving the rank of Major before retiring. His military career reflected his strong sense of duty and leadership. After his retirement from the Army, he continued to serve his community through civilian work at Richfood for ten years.

For over 25 years, William was one of Jehovah's Witnesses. He found deep fulfillment in preaching and teaching others about his beliefs. His spiritual devotion was a guiding force throughout his life and brought him great joy.

He is survived by his wife, Bernice W. Lindsey; his sister, Phillis L. Booth; his daughters, Regina Lindsey and Tamara Norris; a devoted niece, Joan Thacker.
