William McCormick Obituary
May 5, 1947 - October 5, 2024
William (Bill) Frank McCormick, 77, of Mosley, VA, went to be with the lord on October 25, 2024, after a long and difficult battle with an autoimmune disease, Polymyositis. Bill was born in Ocala, FL on May 5, 1947.
After graduating Wildwood High School, he earned his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Florida. He retired as co-owner of PowerTech. Bill was a longtime resident of Wildwood, FL, prior to moving to Virgina where he has resided for 25 years. He was a dedicated follower of Christ and valued family and friends. He was an avid outdoorsman as well as a talented handyman. He did things on his own terms, and often with a sense of humor and a sharp wit.
He is survived, loved and missed by his wife of 24 years, Victoria McCormick of Moseley, VA; children, Jennifer (Steve), Hunter (Sarah), Matt and Katie (Rob); grandchildren, Gracie, Preston, Christian, Brynn, Ryan, Lillian, Raven, Spencer, Justin and Logan; great-grandchild, Freyja; siblings, Micheal, Daniel and Rebecca. He was preceded in death by his father, Frank and mother, Lavina.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2024, at 12 p.m. in the Heights Church, 12440 Gayton Road, Richmond, VA 23238. The family has requested in lieu of flowers, please make donations to Mercy Mall of Virginia, in Bill's honor. Condolences can be made at bennettbardenfh.com.

Bill was always smiling and ready to help in any way he could. He served at Mercy Mall faithfully for many years in so many creative ways!! I am incredibly blessed to know him and to know I´ll see him again!!

Billy loved the Lord, his family and friend.. I miss him more than I ever thought I would. I thought many times this past few weeks that I could conquer anything, but I am finding out not without my faith in Christ. I thank the Lord everyday that God is my rock and Billy knew I was in good hands with our Savior. Thank you Father for loaning Billy to me for the past almost 25 years. I love Billy.

Bill was a great friend and one of the original "Wrecking Crew," our hunting group that supplied many great memories. I'm sure Bill, Skee and Charlie are swapping tall tales in heaven right now.
