William Nunnally Obituary

William I. "Goat" Nunnally, age 74, of Crewe, died Tuesday, April 8, 2003. He was born in Nottoway County, a son of the late Robert Smith and Luther Robertson Nunnally. He is survived by his sisters, Shirley N. Glover of Bluefield, Va. and Jane N. Poh of Midlothian; nieces, Daphne Constantino, Natalie W. Perdue and Ann Thomas Poh Kelly; nephews, Billy Poh and Kevin Glover; great-nieces, Ann Gray Perdue and Megan Thomas Poh; great-nephews, Jason Cochran, Sam Constantino, Jesse Glover and Stephen Glover. Mr. Nunnally was a member of Crewe United Methodist Church, a retired engineer with Norfolk-Southern Railroad, a Korean War Army veteran, member of Crewe VFW Post 7819 and American Legion Post 50. Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 10 at 2 p.m. at Jennings-McMillian Funeral Home. Interment, Crewe Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Nottoway County Emergency Squad or S.P.C.A.
