William Curtis Tolbert, Sr.

June 15, 1936 - January 1, 2025

TOLBERT, Sr., William Curtis, 88, of Mechanicsville, VA, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 1, 2025. He was preceded in death by his beloved and cherished wife of 64 years, Virginia Louise Tolbert; his parents, Mack and Ollie Mae Tolbert; brothers, Tony, Roger, and Dwight Tolbert; and his sister, Jimmie Mae Whitehead. He is survived by his son, William Curtis Tolbert, Jr. (Lori); his daughter, Sandra Jean Crumpton (Scott); three wonderful grandchildren, Rebecca Anne Grim (Nick), Ashley Lynn Martin (Zach), and Benjamin Henry Crumpton; and four beloved great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m., on Saturday, January 11, 2025, at Monaghan Funeral Home, 7300 Creighton Pkwy. Mechanicsville, VA 23111, with a funeral service to follow at 2 p.m. The interment will be private.
