Sending continued prayers of strength and comfort to all who knew and loved Willie. He was always such a positive person, a fellow Laker fan, and skyhawk. We were supposed to plan a party so he could DJ, but life had other plans. I pray that he rests in peace and knew that he was loved.

So sorry to hear about Willie. We met when Luther was dating my daughter. He was another son in the West family. I enjoyed his presence whenever I visited.

Thank you, Willie and Wanda, for raising such a fine young man who will be greatly missed. My family and I stand with you during your time of bereavement. Your son brought joy to my heart ever since I first met him when he was in high school. I was always impressed by his level of maturity and mannerism both on the football field and in the community. He carried these traits into his manhood and fatherhood, and he will always be remembered for his affectionate smile and selfless service to others.
