Wyatt Holmes Fowler

2008 - 2023

FOWLER, Wyatt Holmes, was born February 28, 2008 in Suffolk, Virginia. He moved to Midlothian, Virginia in 2016. Wyatt left us much too soon on December 30, 2023 and will be missed dearly by his family and friends. He is survived by his beloved mother, Amy Fowler; father, Brian Fowler; stepmother, Katie Fowler; little sister, Avery Fowler; and stepsister, Marina Turner. He was the first grandchild for both his mother and father's families and was adored by his grandparents, Roy and Judie Hinton and Carroll and Sue Fowler, and aunts, uncles and cousins, Mark and Tiffany Fowler (Haley and Kash) and Brian and Carrie Thompson (Olivia and Tanner). From a very young age Wyatt formed a love of sports and was a natural athlete at all sports he played. As a youth, Wyatt played soccer, basketball, baseball, football and golf. Wyatt earned a starting position on the Midlothian High School Junior Varsity Football Team as an eighth grader and played football his freshman and sophomore years as well. Wyatt looked forward to August training each year with his teammates. Wyatt recently developed a love for lacrosse and this past Spring played on the Junior Varsity Lacrosse Team at Midlothian High School. Wyatt loved being a member of the Midlothian Athletics family. To know Wyatt, you knew his kind heart, gentle soul and warm smile through his sparkling blue eyes. There are no words to express how much Wyatt was loved and will be missed, but our precious memories will keep him with us always.

Wyatt's family will receive friends on Thursday, January 4 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at Woody Funeral Home, 1020 Huguenot Rd. Midlothian VA 23113. A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 5, at 10:30 a.m. at Hope Church, 12445 Patterson Ave, Richmond, VA 23238. Friends are welcome to come dressed in what you are most comfortable wearing or dressed in something that reminds you of Wyatt.
