Carrie Ann Ford, 79, of West Carrollton, Ohio, formerly of Greenfield, passed away Sunday, Aug. 29, 2021, at The Laurels of West Carrollton where she was a resident under Hospice comfort care.
Carrie was born in Greenfield (Highland County), Ohio on March 14, 1942, the daughter of Walter and Alma (Walton) Byrd.
She was retired from Greenfield Research and was a member of Shorter Chapel AME in Greenfield.
She is survived by her children, Tracy (Dan) Davidson of West Carrollton, Ohio, and James (Eldeena) Ford and Jodi Ford, both of Columbus, Ohio; eight grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren, including several nieces and nephews. She is survived by two brothers, Richard Garfield Byrd and Larry Melvin Byrd.
She was preceded in death by her son, Randolph "Randy" Anthony Ford.
Graveside service will be p.m.. Saturday, Sept. 4 at Highlawn Cemetery in Washington Court House with Pastor Duane Davis officiating.
The Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield is serving the family.
