George Hensgen Obituary
George David "Dave" Hensgen, age 73, of Leesburg, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 9, 2025, at Greenfield Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation.
He was born July 27, 1952, in Cincinnati, Ohio, the son of George and Catherine (Lafin) Hensgen.
He enjoyed bowling in his younger years and then began collecting older scale model cars. He retired from Melvin Stone Quarry and was a truck driver.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda (Vincent) Hensgen; one daughter, Heather Geoppinger of Amelia; one stepdaughter, Trisha (Jamie) Warner of Hillsboro; two stepsons, Clint (Cindy) Morris of Hillsboro, Darrell (Shae) Morris of Sardina; thirteen grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; several cousins; and his pet Labrador companion, Kohl.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Amy Berlund; one grandson, Clint Allen Morris; and both parents.
Graveside service will be at 3 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 14, at Resthaven Memory Gardens near Hillsboro.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Floor 17, Chicago, IL 60601.
The Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield is serving the family.
