Mark Todd Mootispaw, age 56, of Leesburg, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, July 13, 2025, at home.
He was born on Dec. 13, 1968, in Greenfield, Ohio, the son of George "GB" and Carolina (Grose) Mootispaw.
He was a 1988 graduate of Edward Lee McClain High School. He was a cook at Ben & Joy's Restaurant in Mount Sterling for many years and had previously worked as a truck driver for BST Trucking of Washington Court House.
He is survived by his wife, Christina (Campbell) Mootispaw, whom he married on Feb. 2, 1991; three daughters, Marah (George) Mootispaw of Leesburg, Carolina Macey Mootispaw of Detroit, Michigan, Maranda Mootispaw of Detroit, Michigan; Seven grandchildren, Trevon, Kaylen, Arrabella, Kydrick, Dakota, Jeziah, and Jaxlyn; one brother, Jerry Sumner of Delaware; Several nieces and nephews including Dennis (Desirae) Mootispaw, William Throckmorton, Melissa (David) Troyer, Joe (Alexis) Rumer; best friend, Renee Sears of Greenfield.
He was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Lillyann Campbell; one brother, Dennis Mootispaw; one special aunt, Betty Bryant; father, GB Mootispaw; mother and stepdad, Carolina and Donald Everhart.
Funeral service will be at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, July 16, at the Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield with Rev. Mike Hodge officiating. Cremation will follow.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
