Mary Frances Mohr, age 81, passed away on Sunday, July 13, 2024.
She was born in Hillsboro, Ohio, to the late Harold and Mary Mohr.
Mary Frances was a graduate of both Belfast High School near Hillsboro, and Miller Draughon Business College in Cincinnati. She was employed in the trucking industry in Cincinnati for more than 30 years. For most of her life, Mary Frances was a member of the Belfast United Methodist Church, (now known as the Belfast Global Methodist Church) which she attended weekly and for which she played the piano each Sunday. In her later years, she attended the Forest Chapel United Methodist Church in Cincinnati.
Mary Frances is survived by her brother John (Valerie) Mohr of Tipp City, Ohio, and her nephews, Robert Mohr of San Francisco, California and Richard (Kirsten Ambroze) Mohr of Atlanta, Georgia. She was especially devoted to her nephews, including Will, who passed away in 2013. Mary Frances is also survived by 2 great-nephews, Miller and Clark as well as several cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held at the Belfast Church of Grace on Friday, July 19, from 12:00 noon until the time of the Funeral Service at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow in the Tranquility Cemetery
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Belfast Church of Grace, 1862 S.R. 73, Hillsboro, OH 45133
