Sharon Jamison Posey, a resident of Hillsboro, Ohio, went home to be with the Lord on March 2, 2022, at the age of 52.
She was born in Middletown, Ohio to the late Lavonne and Paul Jamison.
She was also preceded in death by her longtime companion, Chris Bowen.
Sharon was the beloved mother of Alyssa Posey (Russell Pollard) and a second mother to Hope Christin, Adrien, Brianna, Kylan and Kadyn Posey; dear twin sister to Karen Jamison (Chris Vicker) and her late brothers, Sherman Walker, Paul, Keith and Tony Jamison. She is also survived by her special friends, Bill and Tracy Posey, Renee Hughes, Jeannie Thery, Lisa Miller and her very close cousin, Leah Burns-Levitt; as well as numerous other friends, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Sharon was known for her feisty personality and kind soul. She was a passionate animal lover.
Sharon was predeceased by her beloved cat, Harley; and is survived by her other beloved cat, Bella.
Sharon was deeply loved and will forever be missed by all who knew her.
Family and friends are invited to a visitation for Sharon on Wednesday, March 9 from 1-2 p.m. at E.C. Nurre Funeral Home, 315 W. Plane St., Bethel. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be at Laurel Cemetery in Monroe Township.
