Violanda "Vickie" Reffitt, age 87 of Dayton, TN, formerly of Hillsboro, OH, passed away on Monday, December 8, 2025, at Life Care of Rhea County. She was born in Benevento, Italy on September 5, 1938, the daughter of the late Antonio Ruggiero and Angiolina (Beatrice) Ruggiero. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Orville Reffitt, and her son, Randy Reffitt.
Vickie moved to Dayton in 2023 after living in Hillsboro, Ohio, for many years. She was the owner and operator of numerous restaurants in Hillsboro and was well known for her cooking. She enjoyed gardening and yard work. She was of the Catholic faith.
Vickie is survived by her daughter, Sandy Pacurari of Dayton; her special niece, Terri Denise (Tom) Herman of Cincinnati, Ohio; six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
She will be laid to rest next to her husband in Ohio.
