Anna Modica

Anna Modica, 86, widow of Benedict Modica, of Stowe passed away Monday, October 24, 2016 at Manor Care, Pottstown. Born in Stowe, she was a daughter of the late Sebastian and Mary (Panfile) Colatosti. She was employed as a seamstress by the Yocum Knitting Co. and was a member of St. Gabriel RC Church, Stowe. Surviving is a son Benedict Modica; daughters Josephine D’Amico, Rosemary Jordan-DiSantis and Anne Riccioli; six grandchildren Stephanie Zajackowski (Jim), Bob Jordan (Kaylee), Annemarie D’Amico, Ed D’Amico, Anthony Riccioli (Samantha), Gina Riccioli; four great-grandchildren Gino Riccioli, Louie Riccioli, Frankie Lepera, and Santino Cavello; brothers Vincent and Alfred Colatosti, and sisters Lorraine Hine and Elsie Kovach. She was predeceased by a brother Patrick Colatosti and a sister Eleanor Kuterbach. A Funeral Mass will be offered at 10 am Friday, October 28, 2016 at St. Gabriel RC Church, 127 E. Howard St., Stowe. Burial will be in St. Patrick Cemetery, Norristown. A viewing will be held Friday morning from 9 to 9:45 at the Church. Arrangements by Warker-Troutman Funeral Home, Pottstown.
