I wanted to express in writing my deepest sympathy for your loss. Since I grew up in Philadelphia, I am not familiar with Vink's Pharmacy but several of my Norristown born friends remember it and one of your sisters working there.
It's evident that your father enjoyed life to the fullest extent.
Almighty God not only wants all of us to enjoy life to the full, he wants use to be reunited with our loved ones that have fallen asleep in death. Jesus makes that clear statement at John 5:28 which states. "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out."
I hope this brings you the same comfort I've received when I remember my grandmother.

As a child, my father was a former employee of Vink's Pharmacy until his death. I have so many good memories from the time my father worked there, including the family picnics at the family house. My thoughts and prayers are with your family during this time of sympathy.
2Corinthians 5:6 -"We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord."
