Carole Pyne Obituary

Carole R. Pyne, age 85 passed on September 20, 2018. Carole was proceeded in death by her husband of 57 years John and sons, Kevin, Matthew, and Michael. She is survived by her children, Karen, Sean, Cindy, Brian and Patrick including 14 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Carole is also survived by her sister Mary Souther of Hingham, MA and a large extended family of son and daughter in-laws, nieces and nephews. Born and raised in Hingham, MA to James and Elizabeth Dunn, Carole was the fourth of six children. Carole and John, also from Hingham, were married in 1955 moving to the Blue Bell suburbs in 1960. Carole lead a very full life. She took great pride and pleasure in her family and was a mom to us all throughout her years. The door was always open at Carole’s home and nothing pleased her more then to have a house full kids. She was boundless with energy. Never one to sit still, Carole was successful in real estate for over 40 years and still engaged well into her 80s. Active in her community, Carole had many friends through her participation in numerous associations. Young in spirit she was always looking for some new adventure. A lover of gardening, Carole was always tending to her gardens looking for something new to add to an already full landscape. Even in these recent years when she couldn’t do the physical work she once enjoyed she made sure her gardens were well tended. A loving wife, great Mom, friend and inspiration to so many of us, we will miss your presence. We welcome friends and family to celebrate Carole’s life on Friday September 28, from 6 to 8 PM and on Saturday September 29 from 9 to 10:50 AM at Boyd-Horrox-Givnish of East Norriton, 200 West Germantown Pike, 610-277-7000. Her Funeral Service will begin at 11 AM on Saturday at the funeral home. Interment on Saturday will be private.
