Claire Muldoon Obituary

Claire Muldoon Claire R. (Dillon) Muldoon, 68, a homemaker, died Thursday, January 6, 2011 at her home in Conshohocken. Wife of William M. Muldoon. Born in Philadelphia on October 4, 1942, a daughter of Frances (O'Brien) Dillon and the late Eugene Dillon. Claire lived in Conshohocken for over 40 years, formerly of Southwest Philadelphia. She was a member of St. Matthew's RC Church of Conshohocken and was a former member of Wives of Knights of Columbus of Norristown. Besides her husband, William M. Muldoon, and her mother, Frances (O'Brien) Dillon of Waynesboro, she is survived by sons: William Muldoon, Jr., and Eugene Muldoon, both of Conshohocken; daughters: Claire Muldoon of Conshohocken, and Shannon Zieba of Collegeville; brother: Joseph Dillon of Georgetown, DE; sisters: Frances Biggins of Waynesboro, and Mary Ferguson of Desmoines, Iowa. Along with her father, she was preceded in death by a brother, Leo Dillon. Her Memorial Mass will be held Friday, January 21 at 10:30 a.m. from St. Matthew's RC Church, Third Ave and 219 Fayette Street, Conshohocken, PA 19428 with Fr. James W. Donlon officiating. Friends may call Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church. Interment will be private. Arrangements by Moore & Snear Funeral Home of Conshohhocken and East Norriton 610-828-0330.

Claire, Shannon and Family,
