James C. Tuturice

1925 - 2021

James C. Tuturice passed away on Saturday, January 2, 2021. He was 95 years old. Mr. Tuturice, of Norristown, was a faithful member of Holy Saviour Church. James was born in Norristown on September 12, 1925, and was the son of the late Francesco and Maria (Catagnus) Tuturice. James was the devout husband of the late Mary (Alba) Tuturice, who passed on September 30, 2020. He is survived by his children, Marianne Backer (Mark), Francis (Thomas Campbell), Jayne Pappalardo and Lisa Smrek (Anthony), grandchildren Dana and David Smrek. James greatest joys in life were his Catholic faith, his lovely wife, and his family. James favorite past time was talking with people, especially in Italian, and sharing his many stories from his time on the road with his scrap iron business in his truck. James served his country during World War II in the Army division and was very active in the Son’s of Italy and Catholic War Veteran’s. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to Holy Saviour Church 407 East Main Street Norristown PA 19401. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral mass on Wednesday January 6, 2021 at 10 AM in Holy Saviour Church. Family will receive Relatives and Friends on Wednesday at the church from 8:45 to 9:45AM. Burial will be private for the family. Entombment St. Patrick’s Cemetery.
