Mary Interrante

Mary Interrante of Norristown Mary (Melchiorre) Interrante, of Norristown, passed away peacefully on Sunday May 17, 2015, she was 102. Born in Terma Abruzzi Italy in 1912, she immigrated to America in 1920 and lived in the Norristown Area for 95 years. She was the daughter of the late Frederico and Angelina Melchiorre. She was also the loving wife of the late William Interrante. Mary was a life long member of the Holy Saviour Church, she loved to cook, entertain family and friends, dance and sew dresses for all of her granddaughters. She was also the top sales person for Niagara Chair Co. for many years. She was a beloved sister, mother, grandmother, and great great grandmother to many. Mary is survived by her companion, Thomas Lipovsky of 15 years; her sons, Charles Interrante of Bethesda MD., Fred Interrante of East Norriton; sister, Margaret (Michael) Kostow; and daughter in law, Elaine Interrante. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sister, Dorothy Pollack; brothers, Fred Melchiorre, and Joseph Melchiorre; one son, Augustine Interrante Sr.; and granddaughters, June Carol Erfani, and Vicki Harrison. Family and friends are invited to attend the viewing for Mary on Friday May 22, 2015, from 8 9:45am, at the Caramenico Funeral Home Inc., Main & Walnut Sts., Ntn. PA 19401.
