Nicholas DiRenzo Obituary

Nicholas A. DiRenzo passed away peacefully on June 21, 2016 at age 82. Born February 27, 1934 in Norristown, Nick was the son of Mary (Ciccarone) and Florindo DiRenzo. He resided in Schwenksville with his beloved wife of 63 years, Lena (Pergine) DiRenzo. Nick was the loving father of Frank DiRenzo (Monica), Debbie Kaiser (Jeff), Nick DiRenzo (Mary), Robert DiRenzo (Marilyn) and John DiRenzo. He was the cherished grandfather of Dana DiRenzo, Nick DiRenzo, Richard Powers, Bill Powers, John DiRenzo Jr., Danielle Short and Gina DiRenzo. He was the great grandfather of Lilly, Stella, Frank, Nick, Cecelia, Lena, and Sophia. Nick is survived by his sister Rosalie Volpe. Nick was a hardworking owner and operator of DiRenzo’s Meats and DiRenzo’s Tavern, and was a past District Judge of Norristown. He supported the Boy Scouts and was a member of the Lions Club, Camelot Club and many other organizations. Relatives and friends are invited to Nick’s Life Celebration at St. Francis Church, 601 Buttonwood St., Norristown on Friday, June 24, 2016 from 9:30-10:45 AM followed by his Funeral Mass at 11 AM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Einstein Cancer Center, Minerva Braemer Medical Arts Building, Suite 280, 609 W. Germantown Pike, East Norriton, PA 19403. Mr. DiRenzo was always there and very supportive. I enjoyed his company whenever i was around especially at Nick and Mary's house during a summer visit with my wife Michele or myself at times.
