Nicholas Pupillo Obituary

Nicholas Pupillo, Jr. of Norristown Nicholas M. Pupillo, Jr. of Norristown, passed away peacefully on Wednesday November 5, 2014. He was 81 years old. Born October 11, 1933 in Norristown, he was the son of the late Nicolas, Sr. and Madelina (nee Zaffarano) Pupillo and the beloved husband of Theresa R. (nee DePaul) Pupillo, with whom he shared 58 years of marriage. Nicholas was a graduate of Norristown High School and was a veteran of the United States Army. In 1956, Nicholas opened his first showroom in Norristown with the help of his wife Theresa and called it Nicholas Pupillo and Sons. Since its inception, Nicholas Pupillo & Sons has been one of leading custom kitchen and bath fabricators in the area. Nicholas was a member of Visitation B.V.M. Church in Norristown. He loved his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He enjoyed spending his free time fishing, crabbing and hunting. In addition to his wife, Theresa, Nicholas is survived by his four sons; Salvatore (Paula), Nicholas, III (Mary), Michael (Deborah) and Christopher (Vivian), six grandchildren; Lori Ann, Shannon, Jessica, Nicole, Jenna, Katie and Kelly, and eight great grandchildren; Tre, Zoe, Sydney, Gabriella, Gulianna, Sammy, Jason, and Gulianna. Nicholas was preceded in death by his brothers Salvatore, Matthew and Anthony and his sisters Mary Catania and Antoinette Luciano. Relatives and friends are invited to share in Nicholas's Life Celebration service on Monday November 10, from 7 to 9 PM and on Tuesday, from 9 to 10:15 AM at Boyd-Horrox-Givnish of East Norriton, 200 West Germantown Pike, 610-277-7000. His funeral mass will be celebrated at 11 AM at Visitation B.V.M. Church, 196 North Trooper Rd, Norristown, PA. Interment will be at St. Patrick's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be sent to the Alzheimer's Association Delaware Valley, 399 Market Street, Suite 102, Philadelphia, PA 19106.
