Timothy Buckwalter Obituary

Timothy Buckwalter passed away at home with his family by his side on January 15, 2017 at the age of 56. Born in Norristown on January 10, 1961, Tim was the son of the late Rita Dorothy (Jablonski) and Robert E. Buckwalter. He resided in Audubon with his wife and best friend of 36 years, Carol L. (Cubbler) Buckwalter. Tim was the loving father of Sasha Lee Buckwalter Matz and her husband Jason R. Matz. He was the cherished grandfather of Noah Timothy Matz. Tim worked at Vision Technical Group, a commercial design, lighting and installation company. He considered himself a musician first, played the bass guitar and had a passion for music. Tim was an avid golfer and played in a league every season. He had a big personality and a large circle of friends from all walks of life but his world revolved around his family. Relatives and friends are invited to Tim’s Life Celebration at Boyd-Horrox-Givnish of East Norriton, 200 W. Germantown Pike on Saturday, January 21st from 9-11:45 AM. His Memorial Service will begin at 12 noon. To share a thought or memory of Tim, please visit www.lifecelebration.com, 610-277-7000.

Tim,
I am very sad to learn of your passing. I feel honored to have had you as a childhood friend, neighbor, buddy, the first to "ROCK" with you in a band, and to have been the best man at your wedding. This "Tim Experience" will never be forgotten and I thank you for it. I am sorry that our lives took different paths and we fell out of touch. I will miss you.
Carol and Sasha, I am very sorry for your loss of Tim.

Tim was all things McManus. He loved the gigs, history, the shop and his crew. Coming from Ohio, I was probaly his polar opposite but I saw his overwhelming love for his family and had a great admiration for him. My time at McManus would have been very different without him there. My love and prayers go out to his family.

"My deepest sympathy to the entire family of Tim. So sad when one passes that young. Although I wasn't in his life daily, he was one of my youngest cousins, and was also born the same day, January 10th, as my youngest son. RIP, Tim.

Tim...wow! this rocks me to the core. I have vivid memories of playing in a band when we were kids...You loved KISS! You convinced me to play "Detroit, Rock City". I still love that song. Though its been years since we've seen each other, I mourn your loss. You chased the dream. Worship the King now, with your bass licks. We'll miss you Tim.
