William Arthur Margolis

1933 - 2014

William Arthur Margolis, age 80, born May 28, 1933, passed away on Thursday, March 13, 2014, in Seasons Hospice, Phoenixville, Pa. He was the husband of Leah (Pauerstein) Margolis, of Trappe, Pa.
Born in Philadelphia, Pa., he was the son of the late Benjamin and Jeannette (Mishkin) Margolis.
William graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Pennsylvania, University of Pennsylvania Dental School, and the University of Rochester Dental School, specializing in pediatric dentistry and pediatric orthodontics.
He practiced pediatric dentistry in Norristown for 20 years, and was also an officer of the Bucks Montgomery Dental Association.
He was an active member of Congregation B'nai Jacob in Phoenixville, where he served as president of the congregation.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are sons David Naum Margolis of Paris, France, and Jonathan Michael Margolis of Squaw Valley, Calif.; grandchildren Louis and Eve Margolis; sister Marilyn Goldman; and nieces Susannah and Juliet.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service in Congregation B'nai Jacob, Starr and Manavon Streets, Phoenixville, Pa, on Monday, March 17, 2014, at 10 a.m.
Burial will follow in B'nai Jacob Cemetery, Mont Clare, Pa.
