She married John Wallace in 1933. She was a charter member of the Rainbow Girls in Vallejo, a charter member of the Pacific Woman's Golf Association, member and active player of the Vallejo Women's Golf Club for more than 50 years, and member of NARF. She was an avid bridge player and played until she could no longer get around easily.
She was preceded in death by her husband John, her mother and father, her sister Marie and a brother George.
She is survived by a daughter, Carol and her husband Joe Waltner of Vallejo and South Dakota; a grandson Wallace and his wife Mechelle; and a great-granddaughter Melissa, all of Kansas.

I'm Free. Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free, I'm following the path God laid for me. I took his hand when I heard his call. I turned my back and left it all. I could not stay another day to laugh, to love, to work, or play. Tasks left undone must stay that way. I've found that peace at the close of day. If my parting has left a void, then fill it with remembered joy. A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss. Ah, yes, these things, I too, will miss. Be not burdened with times of sorrow. I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow. My life's been full. I have savored much: Good friends, good times, a loved ones touch. Perhaps my time seemed al too brief; Don't lengthen it now with undue grief. Lift up your heart and share with me God wanted me now, He set me free.
