We lost a wonderful man on June 11th. Uncle Arthur will always hold a special place in my heart. There are so many memories of all the Uncles, Aunties and Cousins that bring a smile to my face.
Uncle was always there for his brother (Lawrence) and his family. During times of despair, especially when my mom passed (Indira Rao) he provided comfort to our family.
My dad and I were blessed to spend the last few days with Uncle before he entered the Heavens above. With his ailing body, he stood up and hugged my dad so tight, that it brought tears to my eyes. On his last day on this earth, with pain so great, he acknowledged my dad with the words “Hi Bro”.
I will always keep in my heart, his last words to me -- as I said to him -“I Love You Uncle” and he replied only as Uncle would -- “I KNOW”.
I will always love you and will miss you tremendously.

I am so sad hear this news. I have had the pleasure of waiting on Mr. Narayan for many years at Pacific Hardware. He was always working on projects. He always was so nice. I shall miss waiting on him.

AUNTY Matilda and Family:
As I am writing this, I can't but reflect upon the good old days when we celebrated families together at Uncle Bobby's house in Pinole and at similar gatherings. Many a time, Uncle Arthur became the SOUL of our gathering with his timely quips and jokes.
May God Always give you and the family comfort and solace in your irreplaceable loss.
Sneh, Jon Sharma & Family.

I am so lucky to have been loved by you Uncle, you are always going to be in my heart. I will never forget your kindness and generosity to everyone. When I think about how I want my children to turn out in the future it's definitely just like my cousin's, you did a awesome job teaching them morals and respect. We will miss you so much but we know that you will always be right here with us forever!

I was honored to have been in the presence of such pleasantness and love even if only once or twice and for a brief time. Love for Arthur beamed from his family to him and to others because of the love that he showed them and it was beautiful to observe. Arthur was a model husband and father. To be in the presence of the Narayan Family made you wish you grew up a child in their home because of the displays of affection and the kind words so frequently spoken there. The longing quickly vanished as they lovingly made you aware that they accepted you as a one of their own. Some only dream of a family life like this; as a guest in their home, the dream came true and Arthur was a large contributor to that.
I'm am so sorry for this family and even for this world as one if its most valued members is now asleep in death awaiting the words found at John 5:28 & 29 where a resurrection of the righteous will occur. Please, Narayran Family; accept my deepest sympathies in your time of sadness but still keep your faith that you can one day see him again.
