Bessie Chambers Obituary
Bessie V. Chambers, 93 of Vallejo, passed away on Saturday, April 18. She was born in Lake Charles, LA.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 3, from 12 to 6 p.m., at Wiggins-Knipp Funeral Home, 524 Capitol St., Vallejo.
Funeral service will be held on Monday, May 4, at 11 a.m., at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, 1905 Florida St., Vallejo.
Burial to follow at Skyview Memorial Lawn, 200 Rollingwood Drive.
Arrangements are under the direction and care of Wiggins-Knipp Funeral Home, 707-642-4459.

To Hilda Debbie and the rest of the Chambers family I was saddened to hear that Mrs Chambers had gone home to be with the Lord but I know she's in heaven because of who she was. I'm so sorry I missed her home going I had so much going on in my life at the time and i forgot but I know it was beautiful I want the family to know I have all of you in my prayers.I Love you all Louise

It was my pleasure to serve Ms. Chambers. She was always so pleasant and easy going. I have missed seeing her come into the branch these past few years. May she rest in peace.

To The Chambers and El Campo Ct Family, we all have memories of times we have shared together. Mrs. Chambers was in my life for over 50 years! She was Godmother to my two sons and always a "Neighborhood Mom" She drove us all over town and out of town in that Brown Chevrolet back in the day. If you didn't know, she could dance like no other. We are all grateful for the time and love she shared with us. I can still hear her calling "Debbie, Pat and Hilda" Thank you Ms Chambers for everything you were to everybody. You always seemed to enjoy life to the fullest.

My condolences go out to the family of which I have been a part of since my early childhood. Momma Chambers was one of the Mother's of El Campo Ct that kept us kids in line. It took a village to raise all the children on the block and she did her part. She was a true inspiration as we all grew older and will always have a place in my heart. May God Bless her soul and give her Rest in Paradise for she has earned it.

I will carry the memories of my Mom Bessie in my heart for eternity until we unite together in that glorious kingdom of heaven. To my family, you all will remain in my prayers daily for strength, peace, and unity. Loving her was easy, and we thank God for allowing us with so much time with her here on this earth. R.I.P Mother and Stay Strong Family for she fought a good fight and is now rejoicing with the Angels.

Mother Chambers was a great woman. May the family be comforted through much prayer during this time of her passing.
She was a master in creating and designing custom quilts, blankets, and hats. I will always remember her for her skillful knit work; the blankets that she made kept me warm many nights, and the "Dr. Seuss" hat that she made for me still brings joy to me and everyone who see's me wear it.
