Bryan Shields Obituary
Bryan Kent Shields, 56, passed away Tuesday at Sutter Solano Medical Center in Vallejo with his family by his side.
Bryan was born in Vallejo to the late Patricia Wilcox and Bobby Joe Shields. He leaves behind his beloved wife Cindy; his children, Bryan Casey and fiance, Tatiyana, Megan and her partner, Brandon and his children, Luke and Kaylee, and Son Long.
He is also survived by his "Big Brother", Scot and his partner Barbara; his "little sister" Janet and her husband Sheldon; nephews, Scot Jr., Travis, Jay and George; aunt Janet, uncle Allan and aunt Debbie; many cousins and his two "girls", Lilly and Ginger. He will also be missed by his many friends because if wealth is measured by friendships then Bryan was a very wealthy man.
Bryan was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Fraternal Order of Masons, Operating Engineers Local #3 as a Captain and served our country in the US Navy. His greatest loves was Cindy, family, his home, his dogs, motorcycles, boats, his church and working hard at everything he did.
Bryan was "One Tough Monkey" and fought hard against his cancer. He is gone far too soon. He was loved by many and will be dearly missed,
Visitation will be held 4 to 9 p.m., with the rosary and vigil services to begin at 7 p.m. on Monday, April 11, at Twin Chapels Mortuary, 1100 Tennessee St., Vallejo. Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, April 12, at St. Basil the Great Catholic Church, 1230 Nebraska St., Vallejo. Burial will immediately follow at All Souls Catholic Cemetery, Vallejo.
