Carol Palmer Obituary

Our loving Wife, Mother and Nana passed away March 18, 2023. Born in Lawton,Oklahoma to Reba and John Robertson, moving to Rodeo, CA when WW2 ended. Carol graduated from John Swett High School in Crockett and Paris Beauty College shortly after.Carol and her husband Ken took up golf in the 1990's, her enjoying the many beautiful courses in Northern CA. She hit her first Hole-In-One followed by a second only six weeks later!!! She was a Past President of the Women's Golf Club at Blue Rock Springs and very active in the various Twilight and Club Tournaments.She was a dedicated member of Vallejo's Friends of Animals and local Bingo. She also enjoyed trips to various Casinos, especially Cache Creek. She loved playing cards and dominos with friends regularly.Carol is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Ken Palmer, daughters Shelly Maples and Jill Hasenpusch, and grandaughter Jillian Marie Hasenpusch, along with two stepdaughters and their families.A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, April 15, 2023 from 2-4pm at the Vallejo Moose Lodge, 337 Nebraska St, Vallejo.

Ken, Shelly, Jill and family,
I was do sorry to hear of Carol's passing.
She was such a character in so many ways.
So funny and loving.
I will always have such fond memories of spending Christmas Eves at the Palmers.
