Dear Buseman Family,
I knew Carol not only as a peer but as a wonderful caring and compassionate nurse when my Mother in law was a patient at Sutter over 14 years ago. Carol always made sure that everything was just right for her and she helped my Mother in law get thru her fears. Our family will always be great full to her for all that she did. Carol was a nurses nurse and yes the world is a better place because of her and the way she practiced nursing. Please accept our sincere condolences to each and everyone of you from all of the Domenici Family.
Sincerely,
Judy Domenici

I worked with Carol for so many years. I would not be the nurse I am today, without her love, and teaching. I hated working on the days that she was off. We were a great team! She was an inspiration to us all.
Carol and I worked Pediatrics (reluctantly) together when it was moved to 4th floor, and actually learned a lot. Especially how to frantically grab that insistant parent who HAD to be present as I put in the IV, while Carol held the squirming, kicking, biting child, as we watched Dad/Mom pass out. We shared so many memorable patients together. I loved her, and many of us called her, Mom!
To George, Lisa and her other children, please know that she was our friend, co-worker and the best nurse ever!
My thoughts are with you.
All my love, Mary Ellen Pearsall

I knew Carol for many years at Sutter Solano. She was one of the best nurses in the business. She oriented me on the 3rd floor when I floated up there. She had a touch of compassion with all of her patients, and everyone loved her, including the doctors! My thoughts and prayers are with her family.
