Corinne Jensen Obituary
Corinne Jensen passed away peacefully on Friday, March 28, surrounded by her family.
Corinne was born to Chester and Cora Bevis in Florida on Feb. 7, 1927. Corinne moved to Vallejo, as a teenager and later met the love of her life, Bill Jensen (deceased), while attending Vallejo High School. Bill and Corinne were married on Aug. 8, 1948 and were married for 64 years. Corinne was the proud mother of two children, Kurt and Karen Jensen.
Corinne enjoyed playing golf, playing bridge and cooking. Corinne and Bill loved the theater, enjoyed traveling the world, enjoyed eating in the finest restaurants and loved entertaining for family and friends. She loved her family dearly. She was a life long San Francisco Giants fan and was attending the World Series game between the Giants and the A's when the Loma Prieta earthquake struck. Back in the day her favorite player was Juan Marichal who she met at Green Valley Country Club. Currently her favorite player is Buster Posey.
Corinne is survived by her son, Kurt (Janis) Jensen; daughter, Karen (Luis) Jensen; grandson, Tyler (Tori) Jensen; granddaughter, Ashleigh (Joshua) Jensen; grandson, Travis Jensen; great grandson, Lucas Jensen, and great granddaughters, Eve Dement and Bridgette Jensen.
Corinne's request was that there be no services but people can remember her fondly over a glass of wine. Contributions can be made in her memory to the Benicia/Vallejo Humane Society or the charity of your choice.
