Joe B. Cordova, 69, passed away peacefully Thursday morning March 3, 2011 at Napa Nursing Center in Napa Ca. Joe was born in Mora, New Mexico in 1941. He was a longtime resident of Vallejo and American Canyon since 1963.
Joe enjoyed spending all his spare time with his family. He loved watching sports and was a diehard San Francisco 49ers, San Francisco Giants and Golden State Warriors fan. Joe was employed with Lucky Supermarket as a warehouseman for 25 years. Joe is preceded in death by his mother Libby Gonzales and his wife of 40 years Viki Cordova.
He is survived by his sisters Lillian Otwell and Molly Cook, brother Dolfo Maestas , son Robert A. Cordova, daughter Dana Warner, grandsons Steven and Andrew Warner and great grandson Jayden Warner- Devalos.
Visitation will be held Thursday March 10 at Twin Chapels Mortuary in Vallejo Ca. from 4 to 9 p.m.. A memorial service will also be conducted there Friday March 11 at 11 a.m.
In lieu of sending flowers, the family asks you make a donation to help cure diabetes to your local Diabetes Foundation. Thank you and God Bless.
