To the family and friends. we have lost a person of great character, kindness and beauty. A person who you could count on and trust with your inner feelings. I know because Joe B. has been there for me on many occasions even some he wasn't aware of. As young men we spent a great deal of time together, so much time that you rarely saw one without the other.
So as we go on without Joe B. lets all be strong and hold up our heads and be thankful for the time we had with him.

Sherri, and William,
May the grace of God Almighty abide with you stregnthen, and give you peace. To Joe B's Children Lil Joe and Shaun; time will heal the pain that is in your heart.
For many years my dad Mr. Lauderdale would not let anyone but
Joe B deliver the Muhammad Speaks newspaper to our house. Joe and his older brother Adam lived up to their last name for they were both very Strong men. Joe was like a big brother to me.
My husband J B and Joe B were friends. Bless all the nieces, nephews, grandchildren, cousins and Robert George Jones who I hear was with Joe B til the end. We just lost my brother Frank Gowans 6 months ago and now Joe.
Peace to us all.

To the Family,

Joe and his family are a part of my childhood. We shared memorable times in the past.

I will forever remember Joe for the dedicated work he gave to the youth of Vallejo. I'm sure he has touched the lives of many in a positive manner. Thank God for those of his trait and distinction.

May God's Love continue to rest and abide with the family and friends of this noteworthy individual.

The McLeods, Vales, & Wileys would like to express our collective hearts of deep sorrow to the Strong family.
The Strongs is like family. We go a long ways back. Joe B. was a great inspiration to me and all the kids when we were growing up in Floydterrace. Has leadership in showing the kids the way, was second to none. Weather in baseball, football, or basketball Joe B. show us how to be good teammate thus teaching us discipline. Also when Joe B work at the employment office, he show some of us how to be responsible and men. In short Joe B. was there at the beginning or our childhood until we became men. For that I old Joe B. a great debt of graitude. He will surely be miss by myself and lots of people. To the Strongs, God Bless, and stay strong.
