Joseph Tafoya Obituary
Joseph "Joey" Robert Tafoya III, 12, of Vallejo was called to heaven after a tragic accident Friday.
Joseph was born and raised in Vallejo and attended Pathways Charter School, where he was a seventh grader. Joseph was a huge fan of the San Francisco 49ers and dreamed of playing for his team.
He was a very funny and loving boy, who also loved animals.
Joseph is survived by his mother Champaygne Tafoya of Vallejo, his father, Joseph Tafoya Jr. and Maria Tafoya of New Mexico; sister Angel Tafoya, brother Mateo Tafoya, both of Vallejo, stepsister Destiny Montoya of New Mexico; grandmother Tamara Pinson of Vallejo; grandfather Robert
Farrell of Springdale, Wa; grandfather Joseph Tafoya of Vallejo; grandmother Margaret Harmon of Missouri; Aunts Candice Soriano, Erica Bostian, Toni, Valerie and Cynthia Tafoya, and Victoria Burton, Roxanne Portillio, Sara and Amanda
Farrell; uncles Manuel Soriano, Jason Bostian, David Harris, Louie Aragon, William Harmon and Chris and Matt Bolston; cousins Manuel, Stephanie and Andrew Soriano, Joel, Justin and Ariana
Bostian, all of Vallejo. Also, several other cousins and family members.
Viewing and services will be held at 2 p.m.
Friday, Nov. 18, at Skyview Memorial Lawn, 200 Rollingwood Drive, Vallejo.
To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
