Kenneth Dismuke Obituary

Kenneth Wayne Dismuke was born on July 29, 1949 and passed away peacefully holding his wife's hand and surrounded by family on December 13, 2020. He was born in Dermott, AR to Auldreg Ross and Stella Irene (Douglas) Dismuke. Wayne was one of eight children and he loved his family very much. He was a graduate of Alhambra High, Martinez, CA. After high school he joined the Army and was sent to Korea during the Vietnam conflict. He worked as a plant operator and mechanic for Veolia Water in Burlingame and retired in 2012. Wayne had an array of health issues starting in 2010 and he was always strong and fought through them; however, this last January he had a fall where he incurred a brain injury and he finally succumbed to it. Forever you will be in my heart Wayne, My Knight in shining armor, my soldier boy, Mr. D, handsome Samson, hunny bunny, Pop Pop and Cockroach when you misbehaved. I'll meet you at your fishing hole as you wrote to me in your Bible. Wayne was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Linda Wheeler. He is survived by his wife, Irene; daughter, Natalie Elliott; grandsons, Keven, Derek, Kenneth; and granddaughter, Julianna; sisters, Susan Dismuke, Carol Dobie (Will), Judy Aiello (Mike); brothers, Sonnie (Carole), Paul (Mona), Randy (Peggy); and many nieces and nephews. He will be interred at Sacramento Valley National Cemetery with close family due to covid restrictions. We will have a big party to celebrate his life when it is safe to do so.
