Those of us who were contemporaries of Larry knew we grew up in the best of times. Athletics in Vallejo in the 50's were a great binding force for the city. I was a grade older than Larry, and a grade younger than his brother Ward. Athletics were the center of our lives, and Larry was an outstanding athlete. I have been away from Vallejo for many years, but I have fond memories of the Stockstills and Larry . We will meet again. My condolences to his wife and family.
