Lawrence E. Doyle

1934 - 2022

Lawrence Everett "Larry" Doyle, 88, passed away Friday, July 15 in Suisun City surrounded by his family.Larry was born in Holloway, MN on May 14, 1934. He moved with his family to California as a child and was raised in Vallejo. He graduated from St. Vincent's High School in 1952. He proudly served in the U. S. Marine Corps from 1953 to 1955.Larry worked for Kilpatrick's and Columbo bread companies for more than thirty years. He was a member of the Teamsters Union, Pinole Senior Center, Calistoga Ranch Club and St. Vincent's Church.Larry loved to travel, and was also a huge sports fan who enjoyed watching the Giants, A's, and 49ers. He especially enjoyed watching his grandsons play Little League baseball. He loved music, and saw numerous entertainers and comedians over the years.Larry was preceded in death by parents, Everett and Inga Doyle; his wife, Jackie; daughter, Teresa Ujiiye; mother of his children, Reba Doyle; brother, James Doyle; and nephews, Steven McCoulf and Jason Zalesky.Larry is survived by his sons, Douglas Doyle, Richard Doyle (Karryn); daughter, Andrea Doyle (Sandy); sisters, Patricia McCoulf and Kathleen Zalesky; grandchildren; Kristen, Vincent and Nikolas; great-grandchildren; Arin and Ava; and numerous beloved nieces and nephews.Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. with Vigil services at 6 p.m. Monday, August 1 at Twin Chapels Mortuary, 1100 Tennessee St., Vallejo. Funeral Services will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday, August 2 at St. Vincent's Church, 925 Sacramento St., Vallejo.
