Dave/Steve,
Well, what can I say....
Sorry for her loss, and your heartache. "Book Ends", as our parents were, cannot be replaced and I still miss Frank and Lesly.
Your Mother was special to me, and her matter of fact way was, upon reflection...., refreshing and unique.
I remember one time when Dave and I got into trouble, and, as my memory recalls, your mother banned me from your house for a month...! LOL. Maybe that's an incorrect memory, but it works for me and her way with me!
As for what I can say (via a knowledge of such things is), over time, this anguish shall pass.
Remember along the way to peace is that; it's ok to be angry, and it's ok to curse and shout out if you need to then be unhappy for a while too. Yell and throw things, cuz you really want to. I did...and this approach toward your immediate future -helps.
One day I'll drop by.
W.M.
See ya,
Wayne Medley

Dear Dave, I was so sad to read about your mom. I have enjoyed knowing her all of these years! How will the thrift shop ever keep up with all that she did for them!! My last visit was just a few months ago there- what an amazing ball of energy she was, and so dear to all who knew her. Love, Nancy O'Donnell Cook
