Macro Camacho Linsao, 75, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family after a prolonged illness on Nov. 7.Macro was born on Jan. 6, 1943 in Bautista, Pangasinan, Philippines to his departed parents, Prisciliano and Narcisa. His nine siblings include sisters, Melisa and Priscilla, and brothers, Isidore, Manuel and Efren, and departed brothers, Raymundo, Jose, Antonio, and Jon. He was the devoted husband of Josephine ("Josie") Baltazar Linsao for 48 years, and they enjoyed their life together of 53 years in the Philippines, Canada, and the U.S., primarily living in Vallejo, for several decades near his wife's departed parents, Attorney Oscar and Estelita, and her caring siblings, Ramon and Elvie, Medy and Nelson, and Cristine. Macro gave unconditional love and support to his children, Attorney Miljoy and Greg, and Marc and Amy. He was the proud Lolo to his four grandchildren, Gavin, Mirabella Joy, Audrina, and Maverick.Macro graduated from the University of The East, in Manila, Philippines with a B.S. Degree in Accounting. He excelled in a 48 year career in Accounting. His most notable work included being a Medicare Auditor for Aetna Ins., and then a Reimbursement Officer for John Muir Medical Ctr, with both positions spanning almost 35 years. Macro was fond of Elvis, gardening, poker, and cooking.Relatives and friends are invited to viewings on Nov. 14 and 15 from 1 to 9 p.m., at Colonial Chapels, 1000 Redwood St., Vallejo A funeral mass will be held at St. Vincent Ferrer Catholic Church, 925 Sacramento St., Vallejo, on Nov. 16, at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at All Souls Catholic Cemetery, 550 Glen Cove Road, Vallejo.Arrangements entrusted to Colonial Chapels, 743-0391.
