Manuel Muratori Obituary
Manuel P. Muratori, 92, of Vallejo passed away on Friday following a brief ill-ness.
A native of Delzel, Illinois, Mr. Muratori has lived in Vallejo for more than 60 years. He owned and operated East Vallejo Market and was in the grocery business for more than 40 years.
He enjoyed going on bus trips to Reno, following the San Francisco 49ers & Giants and spending time with his family and friends.
He will be deeply missed by his family and will always be loved.
He was preceded in death by his wife Alice Muratori in 1990 and his sister Viola Muratori in 2004.
Survivors include his daughter, Sandy (Mike) Odell of American Canyon; son, Jack (Sally) Muratori of Vallejo; brother, Joe Muratori of Southern California; grandchildren, Michael Odell, Kristin Wiggins, Brett and Jamie Muratori; great-grandchildren, Michael, Lauren and Jack Odell and Cody Wiggins.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held at All Souls Catholic Cemetery on Thursday at 10 a.m. in the mausoleum.
Friends may visit on Wednesday from 2 to 7 p.m. at Twin Chapels Mortuary, Vallejo.
The family prefers contributions be made to St. Patrick/St.Vincent High School or the American Cancer Society.
