Michael Quesenberry Obituary
Michael Quesenberry of American Canyon passed away Aug. 20, after a lengthy illness with his family and friends by his side. He will be missed. Michael was best known for the colorful life he led. You either loved him or hated him as there was really no room for in between. If he loved you, rest assured there was nothing that he would not do for you. He lived exactly the way he wanted to, and continued to do so right up until the day he transitioned into eternal rest. Michael's hobbies included playing poker, his admiration of fine weapons, and he loved Blues music, and in fact taught himself to play Blues harmonica. Michael is survived by his children, daughter and son-in-law, Jeanna (Randy) Quesenberry-Smith; sons, Guy, Donny, and Tyler; grandchildren, Staff Sgt Anthony (Marla) Quesenberry, Michael Quesenberry, and Joseph Walmsley; great grandson, Seth Michael Quesenberry; brother, Randy; sister, Maureen, numerous cousins, nieces and nephews, as well as some very loyal true friends. There will be a memorial service held on Friday, Sept. 13 at 3 p.m., at The Bridgeway Church, 1505 Georgia St., Vallejo. There will be food and beverages served immediately following the service.

Jeanna, Your last posting was heartfelt. I knew your mom well. It is hard to believe when you loose a parent or anyone you love. You are blessed with children, so I would say your glass is full. It's been 45 years my dad has been gone and I still think of him often. God bless you and your family.

Well I am pretty surprised that there have been no entries since my last one. I love and miss you. Didnt think it would affect me like it has but it is strange to wake up one day and say to oneself you have no parents. So on that note I will remember the happy, remember the good and keep my cup half full instead of half empty.

Well as the dust has settled a bit it is ironic that today is your first grandsons birthday. When I had Anthony it was crazy. My grandfather was on a floor above me and my father the floor above that. Ill never forget that day. I know we had a crazy relationship but I miss you more than I ever thought I would be capable of. You would have felt proud and honored at the turn out to your service. I love you Dad...

I never had the privilege of meeting your dad, but I do have the honor of knowing his daughter Jeena. She is one of the most solid people I know. I know your dad must've been real proud of you. Mike, you were a one of a kind stand up guy. I have loved you like my own father for many years. You and I had a special relationship and we both had the same interest which was making sure your daughter was ok. It's just one of those things! You never loose a love for someone, just can't live together. He will be missed by his Jeanna a great deal. He loved her very dear, I seen it though the years that we were married. As so will my sons. He was very colorful! RIP Michael always and forever.
