I’m Ron’s grandson, Michael. I used to love riding my bike with him everywhere, and running. He took me on my first run, the turkey trot, Davis California I think. We had to pick up everything we found on the road, he had the treasure room. He was the greatest man I’ve ever met us driving around with bags of snacks for the homeless with a couple bucks in them, I miss those days. Rest easy grandpa.

Ron was a good friend, we ran many miles together. Ron was always pleasant and a gentleman. He was a first class person. Ron, goodbye and rest in peace.

My father lived in Vallejo for 30 years, and the last four years with me in Napa. He was a staunch advocate for the dis-infranchised. The family asks that instead of flowers, that you give some time and a twenty to the next down and out person you meet.
