I remember Mr. Cornils as a neighbor on Del Mar Ave., during my days growing up there. I didn't know him well, but he was a truly nice guy who always stepped up to donate to whatever fundraising cause for which I'd canvass the neighborhood. God bless his legacy as a pillar of the Christian community in particular and Vallejo as a whole.

Pastor Stan will be remembered by us as a man of wisdom. He married us 41 years ago and gave great advice for a long and happy marriage. He also gave encouragement to Dennis to minister to others in grief recovery. He was a man of integrity and we will cherish fond memories of him.

I was a member of the First Baptist Church in Vallejo and Pastor Cornils baptized me. He guided my family through several difficulties while we were growing up in Vallejo. He will be a part of my heart forever.

Dear Norene, Cal, Judy, Carl and Family. I was so sorry to hear about Pastor Stan's passing. I heard about his passing from Susie Schmutz. He was such a wonderful man. He was such a comfort when I lost Sally and the children and Kenny. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time.

Love and Prayers,

Dixie

Pastor Stan was the kindest man I knew. He was my mothers pastor, then mine and I am blessed to have known him. When my husband died in 2002 Pastor Stan was the first to check in on me and gave me one of his books that helped me deal with my grief. He and his wife are one of God's most precious gifts to us. I know that the Lord is rejoicing with open arms that Pastor Stan has finally made it home. God bless.

My son passed away 10 years ago at the age of 21. Someone told me about Stanley, who I called. He came to my house, and helped me with my grief. I will always remember him for that. We were total strangers, and he took the time for me. God Bless him, and his family.
