Stephen Hussey

May 8, 1964 - July 12, 2007

Stephen Lee Hussey passed away suddenly on July 12 in Paradise, CA at the young age of 43.

He was born to Sandra and Paul Hussey of Fairfield and had been a resident of Napa and Green Valley prior to moving to Paradise recently.

Stephen had attended local schools starting with Falls School in Green Valley, and graduated from Armijo High School. He went on to attend Butte College and worked in the family business of Hussey's Moving and Storage, under the guidance of his grandfather and uncle.

He loved hunting with his grandfather and fishing with his family and friends. He also had fun collecting coins and loved playing golf when he had the chance. His real pride and joy besides his son, Stephen Shane, was his Pontiac Trans Am, on which he was always tinkering with.

Stephen is survived by his son, Stephen Shane Hussey; the mother of his son, Sylvia Doneza (partner, Robert VonDollen) of San Bruno; mother, Sandra Hussey (partner, John Hom) of Green Valley; father, Paul (Raquel) Hussey of South Lake Tahoe; brothers, Bret Hussey of Paradise and Jon Paul (Lola) Hussey of Vacaville; grandparents, Bert (Lenora) Hussey; step grandparent, Manuel Duarte of Vallejo; uncle, Jack (Marty) Hussey of Napa; along with cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by grandparents Mary Duarte and Ernest Bowen of Vallejo.

Stephen's smile, ever lasting energy and great love for family and friends will be greatly missed.

Funeral services will commence at 11 a.m., Thursday, at Bryan-Braker Funeral Home, 1850 W. Texas St., Fairfield. A private burial will be conducted at Rockville Cemetery, located off of Suisun Valley Road.
