Theodore Freeman Obituary
Ted Freeman, 63, died on Tuesday, June 28 in Portland, Ore. He was suffering from his illness of diabetes for the last 6 years. Ted Freeman attended Jefferson High School in Portland, Ore. He attended Coalinga Junior College for two years and then transferred to San Francisco State University to complete his bachelors degree. He received his masters degree from Golden Gate University in San Francisco. Ted was a member of the Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity.
Ted was a sales representative for Levi Strauss & Co. He retired after 28 years in 1998, and began pursuing his second dream of photography. Ted began traveling around the world taking pictures of Reggae recording artists for various publications.
Ted Freeman moved to Vallejo in 1978 where he lived for 26 years before moving back to his home town of Portland, Oregon. He is survived by his four children, Denise, Michele, Rex and Theodore III. He was also a loving grandfather of 8 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on July 5, 2005 at Rose City Funeral Home, 5625 Northeast Fremont St., Portland, Ore.

Happy Memories thinking back as we watched Ted & Rex sharing their passions together- Dad snapping shots of the bride & groom while Son kept them smiling & dancing all night long! And we can't forget how proud Lil' Theodore was to show off those 1st celebrity pic's Dad snapped of Lauren Hill, I beleive it was! Theo is one of our oldest & closest friends- no matter how much time or distance between us, the Freeman Family is always close to our hearts. At this time, may you feel the comfort of friends, the love of family, the presence of God.
