As a U.S. Army family, they were stationed in Washington, the Panama Canal Zone, Kentucky and North Carolina. They returned to Vallejo permanently in 1971.
June was a longtime parishioner of St. Vincent's Catholic Church.
She is survived by her husband of almost 59 years, Arthur Santiago; her children, Victoria Santiago of Oakland, Steven Santiago of Belair, Roberta Santiago with her husband, David Swanson, of Castro Valley, Lora Santiago of Vallejo and Vanessa Santiago of Martinez; her granddaughters, Pamela Churchill and Kimberly Sweeney of Castro Valley; her sister, Gertrude Florez of Vallejo; her sister-in-law,
