Timothy J. Bratcher of Benicia, passed away peacefully in the great outdoors on Sunday, April 25, 2010.
Tim leaves behind his wife of 21 years, Kelly; and their children, Ian, Katie, and Abbey; his mother, Ruth Bratcher;
brothers, Daniel and WIlliam; and sister, Gay Peterson, all of Vancouver, Wash. He is preceded in death by his father, Amos; and brother, Johnny.
Tim was born on Dec. 13, 1957 and was raised in the Pacific Northwest where he learned to love camping and fishing. Tim brought his family to Benicia in 1990 and together they explored the beautiful mountains and lakes of California.
Tim was an avid Harley Davidson rider, traveling across the country, including Sturgis. His father's service in World War II led to Tim's interest in history and inspired his hobby of building World War II plane reproductions.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, May 3, at Northgate Christian Fellowship, 2201 Lake Herman Road, Benicia. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Passalacqua Funeral Chapel, 901 West Second St., Benicia.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Reach Out Benicia, P.O. Box 2353, Benicia, CA 94510.
