LARKSVILLE — Albert Kowalski, of Vero Beach Florida, formerly of Larksville, died on Saturday, May 14, 2022 at the VNA Hospice, with family by his side.
Born in Edwardsville, son of the late Walter and Mary Wall Kowalski, he was a graduate of Edwardsville High School and was a former member of St. John the Baptist Church, Larksville. Albert worked for the Road & Bridge Department with Luzerne County Public Works. He enjoyed gardening and playing horseshoes.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife Shirley; siblings John, Alex, Julius, Joseph, Bro. Stanislaus Kowalski, and Jennie Puscavage.
He is survived by his wife, Ladisla Masakowski Kowalski; children Diane (Paul) Furner of Edwardsville; Albert (Kathy) Kowalski, Jr. of Luzerne; Thomas (Theresa) Kowalski of Larksville; Dr. Edward Stachowiak of White Haven; James (Cheryl) Stachowiak of Winter Garden, Fla; Angela (Matthew) Dale of Vero Beach, Fla.; John Kowalski of Pittsburgh; Kristina (Henry Foreman III) of Palm Bay, Fla.; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be conducted on Friday, May 20, 2022, from 9 to 10 a.m. at the Andrew Strish Funeral Home, 11 Wilson Street, Larksville, with a mass of Christian Burial in St. John the Baptist Church, Larksville at 10:30 a.m. Reverend Gerry Gurka will officiate. Interment will follow in parish cemetery, Dallas.

I remember Al fro attending 4 pm mass at St. Joh´s with his wife. He was lovely & holy man.
My aunt remembers him as a childhood friend in Edwardsville & said he was always a lovely, kind child.. then adult . May he Rest In Peace.
