Dr. Ali A. Ahmadifar, 91, of Dallas, Pa., formerly of Boston, Mass. and Toms River, N.J., passed away Monday, Sept. 22, 2025, at Edenbrook on Second Avenue, Kingston surrounded by family.
Born in Tabriz, Iran, he studied medicine in Tehran and immigrated to the United States, and became a resident at Martland Medical center in Newark, N.J.
Dr. Ahmadifar practiced in the field of urology his entire career at Bayshore Medical Center in Holmdel, N.J.
Ali loved late night trips to Atlantic City, tailgating at New York Giants games and coaching sports.
In addition to his parents, Ali was preceded in death by his wife, Marlene, in 2014.
Surviving are his children, Leila, San Francisco, Calif.; Christopher and his wife, Lisa, Dallas, Pa.; Sheerin and her husband, Avi, Bowie, Md.; brother, Morteza, Boston, Mass.; sister, Fayze, Boston, Mass.; grandchildren, Jessica, Zachary and Maya; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held privately at the convenience of family.
Arrangements are by Harold C. Snowdon Funeral Home Inc., Shavertown.
