Anna Eicher Obituary

Anna “Mim” Eicher, 83, of Dorrance Township, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, July 4, 2009, under Hospice Community Care.
Born in Wilkes-Barre, she was a daughter of the late Jacob and Gertrude (Brenner) Eicher Jr. Anna was a lifelong resident of Springtown, Dorrance Township. She retired from Eberhard Faber, Mountain Top, and prior to working there, she had been employed at various silk mills. She was an avid dart player and loved music.
Preceding Anna in death, in addition to her parents, was her brother, George Eicher.
Anna is survived by her sisters, Elizabeth M. Henry, Mountain Top, and Gertrude Ostrowski, Mountain Top; who along with her son, Ben Ostrowski Jr., were Anna’s caregivers. Anna is also survived by many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; and three great-great-nieces.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday at 1 p.m. at St. Jude’s Church, Mountain Top. Burial will immediately follow at Emmanuel Cemetery, Dorrance Township. There will be no public viewing. McCune Funeral Service Inc., Mountain Top, is in charge of the arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to St. Jude’s Church, Mountain Top, or the Dorrance Township Ambulance Association.

Words cannot describe the grief we feel, but know that Aunt Mim is at peace. Edie, Jacqueline and I were truely blessed to have her in our lives. Holidays won't be the same....Kristen Stanton
